Connect or reconnect an ERP
Prepare for operator-assisted setup, protect credentials, and verify the resulting connection.
What to do
-
Prepare the integration. Confirm the ERP family, environment, entities, companies, and business features needed. Clerked’s integration team will identify the available authentication and setup path.
-
Handle access safely. Provide credentials or secrets only through the approved secure setup mechanism. Do not paste ERP passwords, tokens, private keys, or customer data into Help Center feedback, email, or invoice comments.
-
Verify the connection. After connection or reconnection, confirm status and inspect representative vendors, purchase orders, receipts, or export behavior. Report the integration and visible error when verification does not match expectations.
If an invoice export fails
Open the invoice’s Resolve Task or failure card first. It identifies who owns recovery and explains the remediation. Safe temporary failures retry automatically with increasing delays. When the connection itself is unhealthy, Clerked parks the invoice and resumes it after connection health is restored; repeatedly clicking retry does not restore credentials or service health.
Do not send passwords, access tokens, or secret keys in an ordinary support message. If credentials changed, contact your Clerked integration contact before retrying.
