Clearer invitations and roles

Pending invitations show their status, invitation links no longer expire, recovery is clearer when a link stops working, and assigned custom roles can be edited.

What changed

Invitations are easier to track and recover. A pending row shows Invited, then Sent just now during the resend cooldown, and Resend when another link can be sent. Invitation links no longer expire. If a link is no longer valid, the invitation page offers a recovery path instead of leaving the invitee at a dead end. Custom roles that are already assigned can still be edited.

How this affects you

Admins can follow each invitation from the Members list and resend a link when it is needed. If the address is already a member or matches your own account, the form refuses the invitation inline. Invitees open the newest link and, when it has stopped working, sign in to an existing account or ask for a new invitation. See Accept an invitation and Manage people, roles, and access.

What to do next

If you manage access, check the pending row for Invited or Resend before sending another invitation. If you received an invitation, open the newest link and follow Accept an invitation. If the page says the link is no longer valid, choose Sign in to Clerked when you already have an account, or ask an administrator to send a new invitation.
