Accept an invitation
Join your Clerked organization, verify your account, and confirm the companies you can access.
What to do
-
Open the newest invitation. Use the message sent to your work email; the invitation belongs to that address. An invitation does not expire: it stays open until you accept it, or until an administrator cancels it or sends a replacement. A resend replaces the previous link, so open the most recent message.
-
Follow the invitation link. The page names the organization that invited you, your organization role, and the companies you will be able to open. Create your account there with the sign-in method shown for your organization.
-
You are signed in automatically. Clerked opens as soon as your account is created; there is no separate sign-in step. If it does not open, go to the sign-in page and sign in with the same invited work email. Do not create a second account with a different address.
-
Confirm your companies. After sign-in, check the company chooser and main navigation. Ask an organization administrator to review the invitation when the expected company or job is missing.
If you already have a Clerked account
There is nothing to create: the invitation adds another organization to the account you already use. The link opens that invitation for review, and waiting invitations also appear inside Clerked, where a banner counts them and Review organization access lists each one to accept or decline. When the invitation includes company access, accepting the last one waiting opens a company you joined; with others still waiting you stay on the list. Organization membership alone does not grant access to a company.
If the link does not work
The page will tell you the invitation link is no longer valid. That happens when the invitation was cancelled, when a newer invitation email replaced it, or when it has already been used. A permanently unavailable link offers Sign in for an existing account. If the check fails temporarily, choose Retry because the invitation may still be valid. Otherwise ask an administrator at your organization to send a new invitation, then open the newest message and close older invitation tabs. Do not forward the invitation because it grants access intended for the invited address.
