Meet Clark: ask about AP work and review invoice changes
Clark helps you ask about accessible AP work, review invoice changes, and keep each proposed change under your control.
What changed
Meet Clark, a conversational assistant for AP work. Ask about invoices, vendors, tasks, email, settings, and agent work that your current access allows. Clark can answer with text, tables, charts, links to records, and downloadable files. If you can access more than one company, Clark can use those companies in one conversation and identify the source company in its results.
Your company can enable Chat and the floating Clark button separately. Chat opens the full conversation workspace. The floating button opens Clark beside the page you are viewing. Both entry points use Clark, while each keeps its own current selection.
For an invoice change, ask Clark to prepare a change, review the proposed fields on the invoice, and choose Apply changes. Nothing changes until the save succeeds. Your normal permissions, validation checks, and the invoice’s Undo last change and Redo last change controls still apply.
Clark creates a memory only when you ask. Review it before saving. Memory suggestions are not generated nightly. Custom agents cannot change business records in this release, and older custom-agent proposals cannot run.
How this affects you
Clark reads only AP records your current access permits. Its proposals stay tied to your current permissions and the latest invoice data.
- Start with Ask Clark about AP work, then correct an invoice with Clark or review an invoice.
- Learn what appears in the Agents workspace and how platform and custom agents differ.
- Use Manage Agent Memories to add, edit, or archive platform-agent memories when your access allows it.
- See where Chat and Agents appear in Navigate Clerked and how access affects them in Understand roles and access.
- Review Clark proposals in the conversation and on the invoice, not in Tasks. Use Work from Tasks for assigned queue work.
Heads up
Earlier Home and invoice-assistant conversations do not move into Clark. Start a new conversation for unfinished work. Earlier pending proposals cannot be applied. Ask Clark to prepare a fresh change. Conversations are private and sharing is unavailable.
What to do next
Open Chat or the floating Clark button when your company has enabled that entry point. Ask a question in ordinary language, review any proposed invoice fields or memory, and apply only what you understand. If you do not see an entry point, ask an administrator to confirm your company access.
