Understand ERP connectors

Clerked uses configured ERP connectors to bring in reference and transaction data for invoice review and, where enabled, return approved transactions to the ERP.

Keep the ERP as the system of record

Your ERP remains the source for the records exposed by your connector, such as vendors, accounts, purchase orders, and receipts. Clerked uses that data to help reviewers code and match invoices.

The exact records available are connector-specific. For example, one connector may provide receipts and items while another does not. Your company's connector configuration can narrow the available behavior further.

Understand the two directions

DirectionWhat it can include
ERP to ClerkedThe reference and transaction types registered for that connector, such as vendors, accounts, purchase orders, receipts, terms, tax rates, or prior invoices.
Clerked to ERPApproved invoices, credit memos, or attachments only when that connector and company configuration support the operation.

Do not assume that every connector exports the same records or accepts the same invoice fields. Review the connector capability table and confirm your company's setup with your Clerked contact.

Get help with a connection

ERP setup, credential changes, and reconnection are operator-assisted. Contact your Clerked contact or support with the ERP name, the company affected, and whether you are requesting a new connection or fixing an existing one.

The Settings > Integrations page currently manages email mailbox connections. Its Email card offers Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 options, not ERP connection controls.
