Manage your profile
Your profile is the My Settings tier of Settings — where you manage your personal account info: how you log in, which company loads first, and what notifications you receive.
Open your profile
- In the top-right corner of any page, click your avatar (initials or profile picture in a circle). The avatar overlay menu opens directly below.
- Click Settings in the menu.
- The Settings page loads. In the left-hand Settings nav, you'll see three tier labels: My Settings, Organization, Company. My Settings is the top tier.
- Under My Settings, click Profile (the first item in the tier).
The Profile page loads in the main content area on the right.
In a prior version of Mod AI, you could open Profile directly from the avatar menu. It now nests one level deeper, alongside other personal settings.
Personal information
Your profile shows your name and email. These are tied to your login and set when your account was created.
Default company
If you belong to more than one entity, you can pick which one loads when you log in. Saves a click every morning.
- Open the Profile page (avatar → Settings → My Settings → Profile).
- Scroll to the Default Company section on the Profile page.
- Click the company dropdown in that section. A list of every company you belong to appears.
- Click the company you want to load by default. Your selection saves automatically (or via a Save button if your build requires explicit save — look for a confirmation toast in the bottom-right when the save lands).
Set the default to the entity you spend most of your time in. The company switcher in the top bar can move you to others when you need them.
Change your password
The Change Password page is a sibling of Profile inside the My Settings tier.
- Click your avatar in the top-right, then Settings in the menu.
- In the left-hand Settings nav, under My Settings, click Change password.
- The Change password page loads. Enter your current password in the first field, then enter your new password twice (once in New password, once in Confirm new password). The page may show password-strength requirements (length, mixed case, number, special character).
- Click the primary save button at the bottom of the form (labelled Update password or similar). A confirmation toast appears in the bottom-right.
Your next login uses the new password. Any other sessions you have open may be signed out for security.
Notification preferences
Configure how you receive notifications.
Email
Email notifications go to the address on your profile. Toggle them per type:
- Approval requests, when an invoice is routed to you.
- Processing complete, when an invoice you uploaded finishes extraction.
- Error alerts, when an invoice hits a processing or sync error.
In-app
In-app notifications appear in the bell-icon center at the top right. The count badge shows unread items. Toggle per notification type.
