Manage organization users
The Members page manages the people who can sign in across your organization.
Who can do this
Member actions appear only when your primary permissions allow them. Inviting, suspending, and linking members use separate permissions.
Open Members
- Select Settings in the main navigation.
- Under ORGANIZATION, select Members.
- Use Active members or Suspended to find an account.
Pending invitations appears between those tabs only when at least one invitation is pending.
Invite a user
- Select Invite user at the top-right of the page.
- Enter the person's email address.
- Choose the Primary role and Sign-in method.
- Choose a company and its Company role.
- Set the invoice, inbox, and Insights access for that company assignment.
- Select Add another company if the person needs access to more companies.
- Select Send invite.
The invitation remains under Pending invitations until the recipient accepts, declines, or an administrator cancels it. Its row actions include Resend and Cancel when your permissions allow them.
Link a member to a company person
- Open Active members.
- Select the member to open Member links.
- Find the company assignment.
- Select the matching record under Linked employee.
The link changes as soon as you select the employee. There is no Save button in this drawer.
Change a role or data access
- Switch to the company you want to change.
- Under COMPANY, select People.
- Open the linked person.
- In Roles & access, select Change access.
- Update the company role and data access, then select Save.
Role assignment and visibility do not change from the organization member row. They belong to the person's company assignment on People.
Suspend or restore a member
- Open the row action at the right end of an active member and select Suspend access.
- Review the confirmation, then select Suspend access.
- To restore the account later, open Suspended and select Restore access from the row action.
What you should see
The account moves to the tab that matches its current status. Employee links remain visible from Member links, while company roles and visibility remain on the linked People record.
If something goes wrong
- If Pending invitations is missing, there are no pending invitations.
- If a member row does not open, the account may not be active or you may not have employee-link permission.
- If an employee link is blocked, resolve the documents listed in the drawer before trying again.
